Hola!

Greetings strangers, my friends Phoenix and Lucy, my cousin sis Isna, oh and my friend nimo too. Hi there!

Sorry for the disappearance, just got caught up in life. But I felt bad leaving my blog in dust so I decided to use my drafts. Phew I’m glad I had written these when I was bored. I had written these a long while ago, so I’m not sure if it will match with my latest posts, but I need a few more days. I’ll start my usual alternative days posts from next week Tuesday. Until then, here are a few poems and prose. Enjoy!

Wait, wait, before we begin. HAPPPPII RAAMAADAAAN to allll offf yooouu. I know I am half a month late but I HOPE ALL OF YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL FILLED WITH BLESSINGS AND HAPPINESS MONTH OF RAMADAN.❤️❤️❤️

Tellings of a tale of a kingdom anew

-Arena (sept 9, 2019)

A kingdom new, old or build anew.

That was not knew, for all was gold.

No kings or queens,

To rule a few.

But rulers availed,

For people need a sailor to sail.

They worked and worked to get their pay.

For all they knew was food for sale.

Some bought some clothes.

Some bought some more.

While some had none,

For all got sold.

The farmers were the ones,

Who sold the plums.

So tasty and sweet.

That all had one.

The farmers though, didn’t know,

That they had none.

And none was sold.

Sooner or later,

The difference did matter.

For lords were noble,

And others were taxed.

All they had was all sacked.

Money was sold.

Clothes got old.

But in the end all was sold.

Ones who could,

Sailed the lands.

For far they thought,

They could be glad.

They sailed and sailed,

And went away.

To tell the tale far away.

The stories though had been made anew,

Had roles played by the same.

The ones who stayed,

Rotted away.

In the end, that kingdom,

Became a land,

That tells a tale,

Of all it had.

For now there remains,

Ones who stayed,

Flourishing in coffins handmade.

Okay, before this next one, I had written this years ago. And it’s not my best. The structure might be wrong and the sentences might be too. But, I just wanted to post I as well as back then I was sorta proud of it. Not so much now as I’ve written better. But still for the sake of my past self I’ll post it, she was proud of this one. It’s from the point of view of a blue monarch butterfly. I’m not sure if you know but they’re not exactly blue in color. Enjoy!

A flower in from the garden. I’ve never seen a yellow hibiscus before. It was pretty.

Butterfly

-Arena (sept 4, 2018)

Do you ever wonder?

The difference it makes.

That variety isn’t needed,

But colors exist.

Red, green, purple and pink.

Why not one? when all end the same.

They might be sweet, sweeter, or sweetest.

But what difference does it make when all are the same?

I spread my back and spread it again,

And launch myself all the same.

The night, the day which doesn’t sway.

The beauty I hold is missed anyway.

I wonder, I wonder how long I’ll play?

For I was never made to pay.

The bees that bring,

The honey to the comb.

What shall the nectar do without those.

The flowers sing “the bees they come”,

I watch from the side as they sound the same.

I take away the ones I need,

Leaving just enough for you to feed.

I skip and skip from one to another.

Wondering if the next one will be better.

That’s all I do and that’s all I can,

For I was born to just be bland.

My beauty is pretty and that’s all in your eyes.

For nothing else will ever be divine.

I have my beauty, at least I do,

And cherish it as honey will ever do.

I wonder, I wonder if I will ever remember?

Any of you or will any of you.

Remember the sound the birds and bees make.

When they see me sway, they fly away.

For I will forever be a leech.

Never enough and always to bleed.

My existence is not a mere forgiveness.

I see the colors as they all are the same.

Not a difference does it ever make.

Red, green, purple, and pink,

All they could ever taste like will always be sweet.

I live to live another day.

Not for honey or the comb I cannot make,

For my existence isn’t for you.

I live for me and that’s all I do.

My colors are special and they always will be,

As beauty is what I have been brought into.

Blue, did you ever wonder it’s not what it is?

And not the same?

I am different as they all are the same.

It doesn’t matter if my existence is prey.

I will hunt down the sunlight that lives within.

For all I could ever do was slay and play.

For all I ever did was cherish the sun.

For all my existence had never given.

For all my sins which I haven’t atoned.

For all the same,

For all the same.

This next one is from the point of view of a mother who holds her baby for the first time. I know that poems are meant to be self interpreted but this is quite old and I’m not sure if the context is clear enough.

A nearly dried pink rose.

I’ll love you

-Arena (April 24, 2018)

And so I’ll love you like I’ve never been loved best.

And I’ll hold you cuz I’ve learned what is best.

And the ocean won’t be mending by our hands.

The winds that blow by whispering our mess,

Would lift us by our wings so we can say,

That we’ve been to the sky and we’ve been around the world.

But I’ll still love you cuz you’re my love,

And so I’ll love you like I’ve never been loved best.

And so I’ll hold you cuz I’ve learned what is best.

And when we meet, our hands will reach for themselves.

As our eyes meet and as our feet walk apart,

Our paths reconcile making mends on our part.

The birds will sing us a song and we shall join in along,

And we would dance with the moon and the stars.

As they shine when the sun tired off.

All the skies would sway but our hands won’t just stay,

And I’ll hold you, as the nights just begun.

And even then our lives aren’t done.

And I’ll love you like I’ve never been loved.

And I’ll hold you cuz I’ve learned what is best.

But if you need a walk around or just a little way down,

And if you need a little bit of space for the sounds.

If you want a little of that and if you want a little more,

I’ll arrange the stars in the background for you.

Because there’s nothing better than the smile that you do.

And there’s nothing better than our love.

And so I’ll love you like I’ve never ever loved.

As our eyes meet and our feet walk apart,

And our paths reconcile making mends on our part.

The birds will sing us a song and we shall join in along,

And there’s nothing better than our love.

And so I’ll love you like I’ve never ever loved.

And I shall hold you cuz you’re my only love.

And I shall hold you cuz you’re my only love.

This last one is just a bunch of random words put together.

The hibiscus again. And the pretty coffee table makes another appearance.

Like the still water that taunts the moon, like the wind that stops blowing, nothing seems to be moving. What lies under that water? What makes it be so frivolous to take on the mighty that’s much bigger than it can ever be? The answer is that the moon can never comprehend how the kind water keeps the fishes alive even tho they don’t get to see the sun. The moon can never inhabit those who live under the water and under the sun and under the moon, all in harmony. The stillness of the water effects them none, and the harshness of the moon effects them none. There might be a lot of fishes in the sea, and also a lot of people living up here, but there still a few things that haven’t been done. Living under the sun, the moon, or the water, doesn’t define what your role living merely as yourself should be. Because even if you can live under the seven heavens, and still ignore the ignorant, then you’re the same as the one living under the abysses of hell. There’s nothing wrong, but then there’s nothing right either.

Annd, that’s a wrap. Stay safe and stay at home guys. Until next time, thanks for reading. *sends virtual hugs*

    1. Somehow that made me feel better than anything else…you don’t have to write a novel of words to reach my heart just a few truthful ones do the trick 😉😉 you’re my soulmate after all…wow cringey much…but that’s how we are…floating in this thing called youth we rise and fall…but in the end we make sure to reach home by nightfall…otherwise a lecture would await us making sure we never leave the hall…lol that sorta rhymes…but I’m a poet at heart…can’t resist but let it all fall…fall everything fall everything (you get the reference I know but let’s keep it between us😆😆)
