A hug

You know when someone wraps their hands around your shoulders

Wraps their warmth around your frame

Envelopes your core and make you feel loved to the bone

And their shoulder that’s perfect for your chin to hold forever

And the pats on your back make you feel like you’ve done better

And everything about a hug is amazing and lovely

But a hug from someone you love is something otherworldly

But I’ll take a hug from anyone and everyone

Because the warmth you get from someone is better than feeling cold in summer

And a hug is a symbol of friendship and love

And yet I give away hugs to anyone and everyone

I hope my hugs can make you feel loved because everyone deserves to be snugged

And I’m right here if you ever need one
